About My Art

More works are still uploading...

What is human spirit left during dark times, whether personal or global? My art keeps exploring

this topic. In my narrative film Sophia, a dancer’s performance is canceled during the pandemic.

In the end, she dances on her rooftop and wins claps from her neighbors. I hope people whose

careers are impacted by the pandemic can see the end of Sophia and have hope to go on. In my

screenwriting, Laura, I explore a woman overwhelmed and devastated by consumerism. My

experimental film Beauty Labor addresses the nature of consumerism, invented by capitalism

and patriarchy that bind women. Although not all my work directly addresses COVID, or post-

COVID reflection. My focus transit from personal emotions to exploring broader humanity,

aiming to reach those less privileged than me.
